Refund policy

CBC Motorsports is committed to providing unbiased information and honest advice to help you choose the products that will be the best fit for you.   We have found by doing that, not only are our customers happier with their purchase, but it also greatly reduces the need to return items.    We encourage you to contact us prior to placing your if you have any questions or uncertainty about what you are purchasing.      

Since it is rare our customers need to return items we have made the decision to charge a restocking fee for returns.   When an item is returned we still incur shipping charges, payment processing fees and the product can lose value if it no longer can be sold as being brand new.    While we don't like charging a restocking fee for returns we think it is a better alternative to raising prices for all of our customers to offer "free returns".    The restocking varies by the actual costs we incur in accepting the specific return, but typically is 5-20% of the original purchase price.   

The bottom line is we want you to be happy with your purchase.   If you are unhappy for any reason contact us at sales@cbcmoto.com and let us know why.   We will work with you to come up with the best solution.   

The following conditions apply to be eligible for a return: 

  • You must contact us for return instructions prior to returning item.   
  • The return must be received at CBC Motorsports within 30 days of when you received the item.
  • The item must be in the same condition you received it in.   That means - free from damage, uninstalled, unused, with all original accessories and in it's original packaging.   
  • The item must be securely packaged to avoid damage during return shipping.   
  • Special order items are not eligible for return. 

If your return does not meet these conditions, still contact us.   We will still try to work with you to come up with some type of resolution.   

Returns - We will inspect your return within 1 business day of receiving it.  If it meets the criteria established above we will process the refund due (minus applicable restocking fee) that same day.   If it does not meet the criteria established we will contact you with an explanation and will work with you to determine how to proceed.   

Exchanges are handled in the same manner as returns and may be subject to a restocking fee to cover costs incurred with the exchange.   If you would like to exchange an item contact us to discuss.   

Inspect your order right away for damage that occurred in transit or for any incorrect items.   If you discover either of those, contact us right away at sales@cbcmoto.com.   See shipping policy for instructions on how to handle and damage discovered.
